Photo Diary | New Jersey and Florida

In year 3 of primary school, Chloe (one of my best friends) left the United Kingdom to live in New Jersey, USA and in those 9 years till now we had only seen each other in person once...Once! So in July I was sat in Florida and thought to myself about flying 3,400+ miles to go surprise Chloe. I messaged Chloe's mum who loved the idea and from then on I just had to buy myself a ticket and somehow keep it a secret from the one person I tell everything to. I was due to fly out on the evening of Tuesday, 25th October 2016, to surprise Chloe who still had no idea.. I thought I had blown it when Chloe asked me to FaceTime Tuesday night however I said I couldn't as I was 'working'... I've never worked the late shift but hey, there is a fake first for everything.

I managed to get through the airport, hop on my flight (which was incredible, I loved all the food and the experience as it was my first time flying alone. I definitely would recommend Virgin I'd never flown with them before but I loved it) and before I knew it I was in America. Three months was too long to be apart from a place I love so dearly.

Surprising Chloe and seeing her reaction has to be the best thing I have ever seen. I posted a video on twitter which I now can't find rather annoyingly.. but I couldn't stop smiling or crying! While staying with Chloe and her family they surprised us both with a weekend trip down to Florida to soak up some rays which I was ecstatic for. Like when I've travelled before I always share my favourite pictures with you, so here are my favourites from New Jersey and Florida!

Blogmas day 22: Easy gift ideas!

So this is a few cute gift ideas that you can give to friends if you are stuck or curious on what to give! So here goes!!!

 

You can buy a simple jar and your friends favourite sweets and fill it up!

A box of smellys is a lovely gift because everyone can use them!

A sweet machine is a good gift to give to a friend who is very hard to buy for because everyone loves these!!

Another smellys item, a bath bomb from lush. You can choose that persons scent and give that to them and it can be seen as quite thoughtful!

A simple festive candle!!

Adding a little candy cane on a card is lovely because it is seen as a little gift!

Q&A!

Hellooo everyone!

This week I tweeted asking if anyone wanted to ask me any questions and I was actually asked quite a few!? So I narrowed it down to 9ish questions? If you would like to ask me any questions in the future you can leave a comment below!
 

Question 1. 'Why did you start this account?'

I didn't know if this was my twitter or my blog so I'm going to do both! I started my twitter because it is a fan account for Youtube. However I started my blog because I felt like it was somewhere in which I could escape from my exams and have something that I just like to do ( I'll explain the full story another time!)

Question 2. ' Would you rather live without the Internet, or toilet paper?!'

I sat and thought about this for quite a while because I really didn't know ( laughing as I type this next bit ). However I would rather live without toilet paper because there is no rule saying I cant use kitchen roll right?!?

Question 3. 'Who inspires you the most in your everyday life?'

I'm going to be very deep here be prepared.... The one person who inspires me the most would be my mum. This is because she is so lovely and caring and does some amazing things. I love my mum so much and if I was to grow up like her, being as successful as she is then I would feel like my life is complete!

Question 4. 'What is your favourite thing about Christmas?'

Well.... If you know me well then you will know that Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOO MUCH :):):):):):):):):):):):):) I love the films, the food and seeing family and spending time with them. But I love one thing the most and that is snow because who doesn't love a white Christmas?1

 

Question 5. 'What's your favourite thing about living in the UK?'

 

I am one of the weirdo's that love the sudden changes in British weather. This is because one day it is sunny and the next foggy and frosty. I'm hoping this will happen again soon but be snow instead!

 

Question 6. 'What did you say to Alfie when you met him?'

 

Meeting Alfie was one of the best things in my whole year of being 14! When I approached him myself and my friend both asked for high fives because he was sat behind a desk it was the only physical contact we were allowed with him, and he said okay, but my hands are sweaty from signing so many books! Then we were chatting and I told him I loved him and gave him my letter. I also got a book signed for my friend who is not very well, and Alfie being as sweet as he is wrote her a get well soon message in the front of her book!

 

Question 7. 'Who is one person you would love to meet?'

 

I have a few idols in which are all amazing and I would love to meet either, Zoe Sugg, Tanya Burr or Blake Lively. I think all these women are absolutely stunning and I would love to just have a conversation with them. You may not know who Blake Lively is, but she plays Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl.

 

Question 8. 'Do you have a you tube channel? If yes, are you doing vlogmas?'

 

In answer to this, no I do not have a You tube channel. However I am going to try something that i am calling 'Blogmas' and try to post different Christmas things and DITL and follow me around random things, so that will be starting on the 1 December until the 25th! I hope you will like this idea?!

Spain part one!

HOLAA EVERYONE!

That was appropriate because this is one of my Spain holiday post thing stuff things! I went on three holidays this summer and Spain was one of them! This holiday I drove (NOT ME MY FRIENDS DAD) to France then on to her flat in Barcelona then onto her house in tarragona I think?!?

We where in Spain for 2 weeks and I had a lovely time^ you can probably see from the photos above! But going on holiday with my best friend was the best thing ever! We did some weird silly stuff and some amazing stuff! One of the things we did was go canoeing, and this was really funny because I am very competitive and everything was a race or competition. I was going to write about my favourite memory but I loved every second from canoeing to walking down the lanes to eating at different places and trying weird foods!

We ate some amazing food and I tried foods that I normally don't like such as: chocos, lobster, octopus and some other food that I can't remember..... (Monkey covering eyes emoji here)

I just want to say a very massive thank you to Gremlin ( Her code

name for online because I don't want to give it away!) for taking me because I had a lovely time and  it was amazing. Love you gremlin!
