Jim Chapman - 147 Things | Review*

18/10/2017

Now that we are in the full swing of autumn there is nothing I love more than sitting under a blanket with a cup of coffee and reading a good book. Last week I was sent a copy of Jim Chapman's new book - 147 Things, now I am normally a big fan of crime and thriller books but having been watching Jim's videos for at least 4 years I thought I had to give his book a read.

147 Things is hilarious. The stories Jim shares about all the random things that he has done and thought about as well as all those theories you've thought might possibly be real, are now answered by Jim! There is countless 'things' in the book that I have never even thought about before but now I have read all about them I want to keep learning more.

My favourite theory Jim explains is 'Thing 113: Coffee doesn't sober you up but it does make poop happen.' The reason for thing 113 being my favourite is because I am capable of having one too many drinks and then trying t recover the next day. The one thing I always turn to is coffee because I think it will wake me up and keep me going through quite a long day. I never thought to link my toilet antics to drinking coffee so I'm rather glad Jim talks about it because I've learnt something new that I didn't even know existed before this! As well as this Jim also had the intellectual description of how coffee works with all our cells and bile ducts and what not, so it's going to help with my biology work at college!

I would recommend Jim's book 147 Things to anyone that doesn't like to read. Now you probably think I'm crazy but because each little theory is only 2/3 pages long it makes it so much easier to read and its not like if you stop reading you have to try and remember what happened. I'd even say to you if you like reading to also check out 147 things because once you've learnt one random thing you want to learn more and the cycle just keeps going!

You can purchase 147 Things online at Amazon or you can go into your local bookstore and I'm sure they'll have it! Here is also a link to the audio book of 147 Things with an exclusive Q&A with Jim.

Also don't forget to check Jim's channel out here if you're not already subscribed: https://www.youtube.com/user/j1mmyb0bba

If you've read Jim Chapman's book already let me know in the comments what you thought or tweet me!

Tiger Days And The Secret Cat, Book Review*

25/06/2016

When I was sent this book to review I got extremely excited by the fact it was a book that features cats.. my all time favourite thing if you follow me on twitter or snapchat.

The book itself is all about a young girl named Tiger Days that travels down to her grans house during the May half-term and stays there. The book follows the adventures she embarks on as she learns how to care for animals and help them when they may have become in danger. During her time at her grans Tiger Days becomes friends with Tom, a young boy that lives near by and also has a love for animals. Between the two of them they use their passion for animals to help those that need it.

At the beginning of the book Tiger Days dedicates her time to tigers and nothing other than tigers, meaning when her grandmother showed her a warthog she hated it. However through out the book Tigers Days bravery allows herself to overcome the hatred and she learns that she loves the animal.

It's not just in this part of the book that we see this attitude from Tiger Days because in other chapters we see how kind and caring she is towards all of the animals which I believe is a valuable life lesson to any younger child.

The book is aimed at young children (5-7) however if you are more in the double digits range don't hang back in reading the book because it was really enjoyable, especially because of the happy ending! Also the pages are all really pretty with little doodles and I thought that really added to the book.

I would give this book a 4/5!

Head Over Heels by Holly Smale-Review*

19/05/2016

Ever since I began reading Holly Smale books, I fell in love with the way she wrote. Her writing makes you feel so warm inside and the characters become so alive you fell like they are your best friends.

Through out reading Head Over Heels, I found so much of it relatable that I began to wonder if it was a story of my life because it covers so many different aspects like: struggling to fit in, friendship issues and finding out who you really are.

Harriet the main character who is all of us inside, is an attentive, hilarious and trustworthy friend who struggles with what could only be known as signs of anxiety all because she feels like she doesn't meet the expectations over what is stereotypically society's 'teenage girl'. I feel like this is why people relate to her so much.

If you haven't read the series I recommend you do start from the start as it makes much more sense that way! The book follows Harriet in yet another adventure as she embarks onto sixth form... Obviously it wouldn't be a book about Harriet without including her modelling ambitions. Harriet's agent Wilbur has decided to set up his own business but has very minimalistic funds to do so. Harriet realises this and throws herself into the deep end of the modelling career and lands herself a vogue contract for not only herself but also her sister.

I love reading along to the adventures that Harriet embarks on because they are something as a 'normal' person you wouldn't expect to happen, but to Harriet they do happen. I would definitely recommend Head Over Heels to anyone who simply wants a book that keeps you wondering what could ever happen next or if you want a good laugh. On a scale out of five I would have to give Head Over Heels a definite 5/5 because of the messages it portrays (subtle feminism is fabulous in a book I must say) and just how Holly Smale writes.

Also... How gorgeous does the book look without the sleeve on it!

10th: Absoloute Truth, For Beginners. *Blogmas 2015*

10/12/2015

Hello Lovelies,

So one incredible thing I have been able to do this year was interview Katarina West as well as review her book! The book review is first and then is the interview in this post! I hope you enjoy!
Katarina's newest book that she has released is called 'Absolute Truth, For Beginners'. The book is the second written by Katarina and I have to say I loved it! Elisa Mancini is the main character whom I was easily able to relate to. She is very insecure and has little confidence in herself. She is also like me, a book nerd. She much prefers them to people.

On the other hand we have the popular. Judith Shapiro is intelligent and the ruler of everyone around her. What will happen when the two worlds collide and Elisa realises that she is truly, madly, deeply in love with Judith... who is the same gender as her.

I don't want to spoil too much of the story for you, but you can read the book following the journey of the two girls becoming who they are. Will it be okay in society for them to be together? Will Judith's social status be ruined? Like I said I don't want to give away much of the book but I am giving it 5 stars out of 5. The books written exceptionally well and I love how the story evolves. Anyway I will leave my review there.

The book will be officially published on the 15th of December however you can currently pre-order it on amazon. For the first two weeks it will only be £0.99 however it will be £3.99 from then onwards.
So as I said above I was able to also ask Katarina some questions which I felt extremely privileged to do! You can read all about it below.

Who was your inspiration off for Elisa Mancini? (Or did you think of it all on your own?)

This novel grew really slowly. In the first versions it was a fantasy story about a school for talented children, and Elisa’s predecessor was one of the students. She was some ten years younger then. Then I decided to make her older, and get rid of the school. It really was a slow process, making this story come alive.

Where did you come up with the idea for your book (inspiration)?

Well, I was fascinated with the notion of time… I knew I wanted to write about it, but I didn’t know what. So I kept collecting material. And then I started to create characters, and think what might happen to them.

What is the hardest thing you have come across when writing a book?

Maybe there isn’t any single thing that is hard, but rather the fact that you are creating an entire world all by yourself, and at times that can be overwhelming, and confusing, and even lonely. Having said that, this is also one of the best things about writing a novel. It’s a double-edged sword!

Whenever I write a blog post I like to be in a quiet environment normally my bedroom. Where is your preferred place to write?

I have my study. I can write elsewhere too if I must, but without doubt that’s where I work best. It’s almost as if I feel the presence of my characters when I enter my study.

When did you realise that you wanted to become an author?

I was about twelve years old. I actually solemnly vowed, to myself and to all higher powers present at that moment, that one day I was going to write stories. Later on, when there were difficult periods with writing, I always came back to that decision.

Are there any writers whom you looked up to as a child?

Agatha Christie, for example. I read the children’s section in our public library rather quickly, and continued reading adult books, especially suspense. And then I started to write murder stories à la Agatha Christie. I was probably about ten years old. The problem was, I was so afraid of my own stories that I couldn’t get any sleep at night. That was my first creative crisis!

Did you enjoy English when you were at school?

Oh, absolutely. But I must admit I was a bit lazy with languages. I come from a bilingual family – my father speaks Swedish and my mother Finnish – so I got used to the idea that you don’t have to sweat that much to learn languages. Till I started to study French in my teens, and couldn’t understand a word of it! French is still my weak point. I just can’t figure it out. Sometimes when my writing isn’t going well, I take a pause and read irregular French verbs. It actually helps, you know.

Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?

Read, read, read. Plus, write daily – a thousand words a day keeps the writer’s block away! There are so many wonderful tips for writers, but I think these two are the most important ones. Because if you read and write regularly and as much as you can, you have to get somewhere.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post! I would like to thank Katarina for giving me this opportunity, and you can find her at all the links below!

Little Stars by Jaqueline Wilson Review*

19/11/2015

Hellooo lovelies!

As many of you know I love to read, it is a commonly occurring theme in my blog posts to see a book review pop up! Today I am reviewing the book Little Stars by Jaqueline Wilson. The other night I had a power cut for a good couple of hours, so with no Wi-Fi as a distraction I lighted up my Christmas candles and started to read!

The book Little Stars fits into the Hetty Feather collection. In the series at the beginning you learn about Hetty Feather who she is and the struggles she has had to go with. You follow her on an adventure through tears and laughter until she ends up at the circus. Hetty then meets Diamond, a beautiful young girl with blonde curly hair. They become not only the best of friends but also like sisters.

Anyway in the book Little Stars Hetty and Diamond have had enough of Tanglefields travelling circus, but both have nowhere to go. So they embark on an adventure, escaping the circus. They travelled by a penny farthing, diamond standing on Hetty’s shoulders. On their journey they stop in a little town to stay overnight. Camped out in the doorway of a shop Hetty and Diamond sleep, but with one eye open in case anybody came near them. Woken up by the early bustle of the market, they begin to panic as a man starts to approach them. Hetty is quickly up, scared that he will take Diamond, however he is like a long lost uncle to them and takes them for breakfast. After a hearty breakfast they set off once again on their journey.

Arriving at the Cavalcade hall (Their final destination) Hetty finds a poster outside… with Bertie’s name on it. If you don’t know who Bertie is he is from a previous book and was Hetty’s sweetheart. Hetty and Diamond quickly become the Little Stars of Mrs Ruby's show, alongside many creative and different acts – including, of course Bertie… Hetty’s Bertie.

However the Cavalcade proves a dangerous place and Hetty must fight to protect Diamond, who longs for a normal childhood which she has never had. Of course Hetty has some trouble in the department of love and can’t decide whether she has feelings for Bertie or Jem. (Jem is from a previous book and was Hetty’s first ever love.)The one thing Hetty is trying to concentrate on is making Diamond and herself, be the best Little Stars.

Will Hetty and Diamond become the next big stars of the Cavalcade... or maybe the stars of somewhere extravagant? To find out I guess you’ll have to read the book! You can purchase the book here!

Jaqueline Wilson is an outstanding author. As a young girl I used to constantly have one of her books glued to my side. One Christmas I remember receiving a writing kit made by Jaqueline filled with tips on how to be an author myself. Let’s just say it got to about ten chapters in and the most exciting thing was the main character had broken her pencil. I guess I’m not destined to write amazing books!

Who is your current favourite author? What books have you loved recently?

Dork Diaries: Puppy Love by Rachel Renee Russell*

21/10/2015

Hello lovelies!

Today I decided to write another book review! These are one of my favourite things to write because books are something I’m passionate about! Today is a book called ‘Puppy Love’ which is the tenth instalment in the bestselling Dork Diaries series. They are written by an amazing woman called Rachel Renee Russell, who is currently the 8th biggest children’s book author of 2015. The whole collection of Dork diaries books are basically the girl version of Diary of a wimpy kid. Now on to the review…

Without reading any of the other books in the collection you can easily understand this book. The book starts off with Nikki’s worst enemy Mackenzie finally out of her life! Straight away as the reader I was thinking hoorah! Now Nikki isn’t stuck with her worst enemy and can enjoy her life.

But of course our lives aren’t all glitter and fairy tales! Nikki bumps into Mackenzie when visiting the cupcake shop, resulting in finding out juicy gossip about her new school! Nikki tries to not let this faze her and goes with Brandon (her boyfriend) to the place he works, an Animal Shelter! He is practically a dream boy!!

While scoring around Nikki finds Holly, the worlds cutest golden retriever… oh and her gorgeous puppies! The next part of the story is Nikki embarking on an adventure on how to look after these puppies, while living her life!  I guess to find out what happens next you’ll have to read the book!

Dork Diaries ‘Puppy Love’ is published on the 22nd October 2015 it will be on sale at £5.49 in Hardback. It is available on pre-order here!

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post! Make sure to check put the book!

Demon Road by Derek Landy*

15/10/2015

Hellooo lovelies!

If you read my blog post that went up donkeys years ago then you would know that I wanted to do book reviews every month because.. Well I love to read! Now that it is October it’s okay to write about a thriller. This book is my idea of hell. I’d hate to have to go through what Amber Lamont did.

Amber is your average sixteen year old girl. She is incredible smart however is extremely insecure…. A bit like me but without the smart! I can also relate to Amber in a way because she is constantly online, writing fan fiction (Fan fiction is when a fan takes something/someone they respect and turns it into a fictional story. They are mainly based around bands/actresses/celebrities.). This makes Amber your average teen.

One evening Amber is working when two young men come into the diner. They are disrespectful and don’t care about Amber. When amber walks back over to them she trips spilling their milkshakes. This makes the men mad and they attempt to grab Amber until her co-worker comes over and intervenes. Leaving work early Amber starts her walk home, making the wrong decision of taking the short cut through the alley ways. Of course because Amber is having such an amazing day, she comes across the boys. What she does next even I wasn’t expecting.

Amber punches one in the face causing it all to break and he starts bleeding staggering to the floor. Amber takes this chance to run home, where she finds her parents. Racing up to her room she’s tries to cover up the blood stains in which are all over her clothes.

Before she can do anything the police are knocking at Amber’s door asking to speak to her. He parents cover for her by laughing and saying their daughter is innocent before they snapped. They changed. Demons. Amber’s parents turned into demons before punching their way through the police officers chests.  Clearly the police officers die! The next day Amber’s parents act as though nothing has happened and invite all their friends over. When they arrived everyone made sure to hug Amber, which didn't normally happen. Everyone was happy and smiles were all around. This is when they enlighten Amber into the fact she is a demon, just like them. Amber refused to believe it and said that what happened to the boys wasn't just her it was her inner demon.

Amber now knows the family secret but is yet to learn more. As Amber learns more she confides herself to her room more than normal. Then one evening she decided she's had enough and wants out. Amber climbs out the window of her bedroom, falls and of course injures herself. As she starts to crawl away from the house she hears high heels clipping the floor, before she sees Imelda, one of her parent’s demon friends, in front of her.

Imelda takes Amber home with her and allows her to stay for a while. Due to Imelda being a demon Amber doesn't feel safe here and tries to escape. However on her way out she is met with a man whom is blocking her exit. He won’t let her go, consequently Amber shoots him. Imelda explains to Amber that she needs to go into hiding. Amber doesn't understand until she realises that it’s her parents. Amber was only conceived so that when she turned 16 her parents could feed off her blood making them last longer. They were told to do so by the shining demon, the god of Demons.

Imelda’s friend Milo takes Amber to see a man who has 'magic powder' allowing her to see the shining demon. Amber comes face to face with the demon that creates her a promise, if she will find a man that he is after and return him in 2 weeks’ time then he will prevent her parents from ever seeing her. However if she doesn't succeed then the shining demon will help her parents.

Milo and Amber embark on their journey to find the man who never returned to the Shining demon. With the hours that Amber had remaining carved into her wrist by the Demon, dropping fast, they set off. With her parents hot on their tail, Amber and Milo must find the man, before it’s too late.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book especially because it is the lead up to Halloween now! I would recommend this book to anyone in their teens or even older because it is such an amazing read! On the evening of Halloween, Book Tuber Benjamin of Tomes will be reading live and I recommend you tune in and watch! You can watch it here!

Geek Girl: All That Glitters By Holly Smale review*

23/09/2015

Helloooo!

So todays book review is one that I have found so many quote in that are extremely relatable that I felt like sharing it with you all!

The blurb of the book sums it up as: A geek girl starting Sixth form, who also happens to be a super model. The book in my eyes is a whole lot more than this!

It starts straight away in full disaster for Harriet because she goes to school on an inset day... This is a teacher training day when students don't need to come in... oh and she has on random clothes that completely clash!! This is my worst nightmare when going back to school so I really felt sorry for Harriet! So obviously Harriet then returns to school on the correct day, but after a bonding session with her form group is singled out as a 'nerd' and no-one wants to be her friend. The next day she has baked cookies, hoping to win everyone over. Harriet being a bit ditsy like myself thought everyone now loved her for the cookies until walking home. She sees images of herself modelling from back when she was on holiday. The images are everywhere even the cringy places like bus stops!

Harriet is now living the ultimate dream of any teenage girl. She is a supermodel with calls from Bug named brands all over the world. Then her 'ex' manager calls her, asking to re-sign her because she is going to be a big hit.... However is constantly getting her name wrong as we think as Hannah.  Harriet is then invited to fly to another country to do a to interveiw. But upon arrival everyone is once again callum be her Hannah with extreme talents that Harrier didn't know she had. Believing that her manager had set this up to make her seem more creative she goes along with it. Everyone at school now wants to be friends with Harriet but as the reader we don't know if they are  really wanting to be friends with Harriet or friends with her new star status? I don't want to spoil the rest of the book for you so im going to leave it there.

I love the fact that we get to see Harriet in a different light.. the ideal light for anyone attending a college... to be 'popular'. Harriet has suddenly got a split personality of secretly being a geek but also a famous model.

I thought that I would include some of the many quotes that have made me laugh or I relate to throughout the book:

"Because here is the thing about a book: when you pick up a story, you put down your own"

"A break up is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken, than hurt yourself trying to fix it"

" And in walks the captain hook to my Peter Pan; the Voldermort to my Harry Potter. The Cruella De Vil to my hundred spotted puppies"

I hope you have enjoyed this book.. Which if you did make sure to enter my giveaway below to win a copy of the book!

Opal Plumstead by Jaqueline Wilson review*

19/08/2015
Hellooo!
For some reason now, I've gotten into the habit of reading a lot more, resulting in a lot of finished books that I have loved and want to tell so many people about... this means that I am getting into writing many more book reviews. Due to my un-denying love for reading I'm going to aim to do a review once a month!

The book that I am writing about for august is called Opal Plumstead by Jaqueline Wilson, one of my childhood heroes. When I was growing up I started reading Jaqueline’s simple books such as 'The Worry Website' and 'The mum minder'  which if you are of a younger age I would recommended reading because they are so easy to get you into reading. Then as I got older I started reading books such as 'Sapphire Battersea' and 'Cookie'. I have pretty much every book from Jaqueline Wilson. However one book I had never read was 'Opal Plumstead'.

Having always loved Jaqueline Wilson due to her being the person to create my undesiring love for reading, I couldn't believe I haven't read this book. After researching the book I found that it is classes in the 10+ genre. However after reading the book myself I believe that anyone could read this book in the way that it focuses on feminism and the suffragettes, what I would class as a subject for older children to learn about. The book educates you about Mrs Pankhurst and the journey that these suffragettes have to go on to make their points heard. I found the book very inspirational in the way that it makes me want to stand up and say what I believe in more often instead of hiding away.

The book however doesn't start of like this. It starts of showing Opal and her family living in poverty you could say. They have a rundown house, hardly able to eat enough food every day. Opals mother doesn't work however her father is a writer. He writes books, yet none have ever been published. Until now... The father comes home saying his book needs a few changes then it will become published. His family knowing that this means a big pay out, start buying things thinking that they can soon pay it all off with the new money. Opal's sister buys new dresses however Opal doesn't care how she looks, she cares more about painting. This is why she goes and buys a new set of paints against her mother’s wishes.

Opals mother feels as though she has failed in bringing up Opal up because she doesn't care about how she looks. This is because of the image her sister created. Opal's mother favourites her sister because she is the 'perfect image' as I would call it in society. She is a skinny tall girl with beautiful hair.

When the police come knocking at the door... the family have their world turned around. Opals father had been stealing money from the company he works for, due to the book not being published, resulting in not wanting to let his family down. This results in two big changes in Opals life. She loses her father as well as her best friend. This is because the girl, Olivia’s family believe this was completely wrong so they are banned from seeing each other.

Opal and her family are distraught, now living off no money trying to scrape by. To try and survive this tough time Opals mother pulls opal out of her scholarship at school into a working job. This didn’t start of very well. Opal faced many issues that teens do in society today. She was bullied by fellow workers because she was young and from another town. However when called in to the bosses office (Mrs. Roberts) Opals world is turned around. Not only is she moved into the design room, Opal also gets a leaflet to a suffragette meeting. This is Opal’s ultimate dream, finally applying her skills of art in some way.

Opal attended many a meetings then often returning home to Mrs. Roberts for tea. This is where she meets Morgan. Opal and Morgan become very close, until his mother intervenes not liking them together. Due to Opal becoming upset of a silly thing she speaks out at a meeting finally with her own opinion. However this is the wrong thing to do. Not only is she banned from seeing Morgan but also attending meetings. At this stage in the book I felt proud of Opal even though she thought she’d done the wrong thing, I never have the courage to stand up in front of people and say... “You know what I disagree I think this and that”.  Later into the book Opal goes on secret dates with Morgan... until the war breaks out. I’m not going to spoil the ending but I will leave you with this... I cried.

I loved this book. I'm quite different from Opal, but through the book I could really relate to her. I loved that sometimes Opal was wrong, or that she often changed her mind on tings because this shows how we aren't all perfect in this world. There was also a family like that chopped and changed. As did some of the relationships with friends/acquaintances'. I like that the book shows everyone isn't living a perfect life and behind closed doors, who knows what is going on in peoples lives.

You can buy the book here!

Q&A!

26/11/2014

Hellooo everyone!

This week I tweeted asking if anyone wanted to ask me any questions and I was actually asked quite a few!? So I narrowed it down to 9ish questions? If you would like to ask me any questions in the future you can leave a comment below!

Question 1. 'Why did you start this account?'

I didn't know if this was my twitter or my blog so I'm going to do both! I started my twitter because it is a fan account for Youtube. However I started my blog because I felt like it was somewhere in which I could escape from my exams and have something that I just like to do ( I'll explain the full story another time!)

Question 2. ' Would you rather live without the Internet, or toilet paper?!'

I sat and thought about this for quite a while because I really didn't know ( laughing as I type this next bit ). However I would rather live without toilet paper because there is no rule saying I cant use kitchen roll right?!?

Question 3. 'Who inspires you the most in your everyday life?'

I'm going to be very deep here be prepared.... The one person who inspires me the most would be my mum. This is because she is so lovely and caring and does some amazing things. I love my mum so much and if I was to grow up like her, being as successful as she is then I would feel like my life is complete!

Question 4. 'What is your favourite thing about Christmas?'

Well.... If you know me well then you will know that Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOO MUCH :):):):):):):):):):):):):) I love the films, the food and seeing family and spending time with them. But I love one thing the most and that is snow because who doesn't love a white Christmas?1

Question 5. 'What's your favourite thing about living in the UK?'

I am one of the weirdo's that love the sudden changes in British weather. This is because one day it is sunny and the next foggy and frosty. I'm hoping this will happen again soon but be snow instead!

Question 6. 'What did you say to Alfie when you met him?'

Meeting Alfie was one of the best things in my whole year of being 14! When I approached him myself and my friend both asked for high fives because he was sat behind a desk it was the only physical contact we were allowed with him, and he said okay, but my hands are sweaty from signing so many books! Then we were chatting and I told him I loved him and gave him my letter. I also got a book signed for my friend who is not very well, and Alfie being as sweet as he is wrote her a get well soon message in the front of her book!

Question 7. 'Who is one person you would love to meet?'

I have a few idols in which are all amazing and I would love to meet either, Zoe Sugg, Tanya Burr or Blake Lively. I think all these women are absolutely stunning and I would love to just have a conversation with them. You may not know who Blake Lively is, but she plays Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl.

Question 8. 'Do you have a you tube channel? If yes, are you doing vlogmas?'

In answer to this, no I do not have a You tube channel. However I am going to try something that i am calling 'Blogmas' and try to post different Christmas things and DITL and follow me around random things, so that will be starting on the 1 December until the 25th! I hope you will like this idea?!

Thank you for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it, and it might have answered some questions about me that you didn't know!!

Ketchup clouds...?

09/07/2014
Hey guys!

This week I thought, why not be different. Why not do something out of the ordinary! So I decided to do a short book review on ketchup clouds!.... Here goes!

Book: ketchup clouds!
Author: Annabel Pitcher

The ketchup clouds has nothing to do with ketchup! It actually symbolises blood. It is about a teen girl who had a dark secret and can't pluck up the courage to tell anyone.  However when she finds that she can write to prisoners on death row, without receiving a reply she takes  the chance using it to  help get the guilt of her shoulders. Still not knowing her name as the reader, she writes to the prisoner explaining her situation, creating a fake address and name... The story is in reverse, telling the story as it happens, until it's time for the man to be executed.. Now she tries to prove that he is innocent, studying and learning all about the man, will she make it in time to help stop him being killed?  I really would recommend this book to both genders because I think it is really interesting and you never want to put it down!

This is the front cover and it is really cute, because the birds then lead onto the pages!

I hope you guys liked this, and will go and read this book, or try out audible! I would give this book 9/10!
