Q to the A!

28/11/2015
Hellooo Lovelies!
So the other day on twitter I asked for people to tweet me any questions they have and I will answer them in a blog post! Here goes....

When I first saw this tweet I laughed to myself about how unfit I am.. But then I thought about it and I realised that actually I do walk 2 miles to school and home from school 5 times a week. On top of that I am constantly running upstairs and from one side of the school to another, so I do a lot of walking! I guess it helps when keeping fit because I am also a very fast walker. All my friends are constantly telling me to slow down. I guess with confidence about my body I have learnt that everyone is different and we are all special in our own ways. We just have to embrace our flaws and learn to treat them as something special, because not everyone has the same as me.
Maisie Maisie Maisie... the greatest thing about Maisie Wiltshire is that she has amazing taste in friends obviously (have you seen how fab I am gosh!). Of course you have great taste in books. Anyway... Maisie was new in my year at school and I didn't know her at first. Then the other day she DM'd me on twitter and we started to chat and I learnt how funny and kind she is. I speak to Maisie 24/7 now and it just shows how the internet can bring people together!
Because I am rather strange I love spending time with my family when everyone is happy. I feel like it is such a special day when you have a caring family around. Oh and also all the Christmas films, mince pies, Christmas pudding and MULLED WINE (non-alcoholic of course!).

I was saying to my mum the other day that I would love to go to Norway and see the northern lights. I think that it would be a truly magical trip. It would be so breathtakingly aesthetic (using my descriptive language from my English course work!). One day I’d defiantly like to go.
One beauty product that I love at the minute would have to be Mac's Matte Lipstick in the shade Velvet Teddy. I picked this up back in October when in Florida after my friend Olivia recommended it. The colour suits anybody. It is a subtle brown/purple colour that is stunning. I love to wear it with a golden brown Smokey eye!

My favourite film is either Miss Congeniality or Big Hero Six. I love them both for completely different reasons! I love Baymax in Big hero six he is such a hilarious character that I would love to have in my life. I bet he gives good hugs. Also the fact he turns into a heater sounds great in this horrible English weather we have. But then again I love the whole concept of Miss Congeniality were she is a tom-boy cop whose life is turned upside down when she is entered into a pageant to solve a mystery.
This question I was um-ing and arr-ing the answer to. I did Blogmas last year and I was actually quite proud of it not going to lie! This year I was thinking of doing a blog post every day but a chatty one on the first and then alternating days between opening a door on my benefit calendar and sharing with you what’s inside? I thought that this would be a good idea for those who don't have a beauty calendar and are considering it next year and also to see more benefit products!
I hope you enjoyed this blogpost! If you could only use one make-up product for the rest of your life which would it be?

House Of Twtits App!*

26/11/2015

Hellooo lovelies!

As many of you know (if you follow me on twitter) I am currently doing my mocks of the mocks at school. So this means a lot of revision. One key thing to do when revising is to take regular breaks... for me that is every 2 minutes but everyone else it’s probably every 2 hours. I am always tempted to play on my phone when I have a spare minute and so I thought I would share with you an app that I think is so fun to play!
The app is called House of Twits and it is inspired by Roald Dahls book The Twits. You start of by being Mrs Twit until you get to level nine then you can have Mr Twit. You basically spend your time tormenting the characters pulling out their eyeballs dangling from the ceiling, knocking their walking stick out of their hands.
I find the game so amusing it constantly makes me laugh! My favourite thing is dangling Mrs Twit from the ceiling because the way she sqeals just cracks me up!

You can watch the trailer of the app below:

If you like the look of the game then you can download it by clicking here!

The app costs £2.99 but is totally worth it!

What is your favourite app to play on your phone?

Little Stars by Jaqueline Wilson Review*

19/11/2015

Hellooo lovelies!

As many of you know I love to read, it is a commonly occurring theme in my blog posts to see a book review pop up! Today I am reviewing the book Little Stars by Jaqueline Wilson. The other night I had a power cut for a good couple of hours, so with no Wi-Fi as a distraction I lighted up my Christmas candles and started to read!

The book Little Stars fits into the Hetty Feather collection. In the series at the beginning you learn about Hetty Feather who she is and the struggles she has had to go with. You follow her on an adventure through tears and laughter until she ends up at the circus. Hetty then meets Diamond, a beautiful young girl with blonde curly hair. They become not only the best of friends but also like sisters.

Anyway in the book Little Stars Hetty and Diamond have had enough of Tanglefields travelling circus, but both have nowhere to go. So they embark on an adventure, escaping the circus. They travelled by a penny farthing, diamond standing on Hetty’s shoulders. On their journey they stop in a little town to stay overnight. Camped out in the doorway of a shop Hetty and Diamond sleep, but with one eye open in case anybody came near them. Woken up by the early bustle of the market, they begin to panic as a man starts to approach them. Hetty is quickly up, scared that he will take Diamond, however he is like a long lost uncle to them and takes them for breakfast. After a hearty breakfast they set off once again on their journey.

Arriving at the Cavalcade hall (Their final destination) Hetty finds a poster outside… with Bertie’s name on it. If you don’t know who Bertie is he is from a previous book and was Hetty’s sweetheart. Hetty and Diamond quickly become the Little Stars of Mrs Ruby's show, alongside many creative and different acts – including, of course Bertie… Hetty’s Bertie.

However the Cavalcade proves a dangerous place and Hetty must fight to protect Diamond, who longs for a normal childhood which she has never had. Of course Hetty has some trouble in the department of love and can’t decide whether she has feelings for Bertie or Jem. (Jem is from a previous book and was Hetty’s first ever love.)The one thing Hetty is trying to concentrate on is making Diamond and herself, be the best Little Stars.

Will Hetty and Diamond become the next big stars of the Cavalcade... or maybe the stars of somewhere extravagant? To find out I guess you’ll have to read the book! You can purchase the book here!

Jaqueline Wilson is an outstanding author. As a young girl I used to constantly have one of her books glued to my side. One Christmas I remember receiving a writing kit made by Jaqueline filled with tips on how to be an author myself. Let’s just say it got to about ten chapters in and the most exciting thing was the main character had broken her pencil. I guess I’m not destined to write amazing books!

Who is your current favourite author? What books have you loved recently?

The Liebster Award.

17/11/2015

Hellooo lovelies!

So today I am going to do the Liebster Award. I was nominated by the lovely Caoimhe who has an amazing blog! She writes about beauty, fashion and anything that comes to mind! She is ever so lovely and you can check her out here!! Before I start with this I just wanted to apologise for not uploading a blog post twice a week and have only been doing it once a week. I am currently in year 11 and next week I have mocks of my mocks so I need to revise a lot! Anyway....

The rules for this award are...

1. Post a link back to the blogger who nominated you.

2. Answer the 10 questions that the person who nominated gave you.

3. Nominate 10 bloggers (or blogs).

4. Give your nominees a set of 10 new questions for them to answer.

5. Also don't forget to include the Liebster award sticker in your post.

Caoimhe's Questions to me were:

1. What is your favourite animal?

My favourite animal is a cat. I have loved cats since I was a little human. I have grown up with cats and love them dearly. My current cat is called Monty and he is so fluffy and adorable. He is now four years old but still acts like a little kitten every day.

2. What is your favourite place that you have visited?

My favourite place that I have visited has to be Disneyland Orlando. Disneyland is so magical and holds so many memories for me. I first went when I was little then again when I was around 10 and then again this year. Every single time, no matter how old I have been, I have loved it.

3. What is your favourite song at the minute?

If you ever read my first ever blog post then you will know that I love One Direction. On Friday the 13th of November they released their new album Made in the am. I love the song Love you Goodbye however if I choose of the charts then it would be History by One Direction. The song was written for the fans about the fans. It is such an incredible song and I am constantly having it on repeat!

4. Who is your celebrity crush?

My male celebrity crush is Louis Tomlinson. I think he is so incredibly amazing and has such a perfect singing voice. Not only that but I also think he is so aesthetically pleasing to look at. My female crush would have to be Blake Lively. I do not understand how people can dislike her. She is such an inspirational actress and she is so beautiful.

5. What is your favourite thing about blogging?

I love being able to be myself without someone turning round and telling me I’m wrong. I like the freedom and creativity that I have.

6. Do you have any bad habits?

I have a bad habit of biting my nails. I really want to break the habit because then I can paint them and then they will look pretty!

7. What do you like to do to relax?

I love to sit in my bed with the candles burning and reading a book!

8. What is your favourite smell?

My favourite smell has to be warm cinnamon donuts, when they are straight out of the oven. If it was a natural smell I would pick just after the rain has stopped falling.

9. What is your favourite social networking site?

Twitter.

10. Have you ever met a celebrity? If not, who would you like to meet?

If you class him as a celebrity then Alfie Deyes (you can read my blog post about it here although it isn't the best because I wrote it over a year ago!) , but if not then I would love to meet Louis Tomlinson or the whole of One Direction!

I nominate:

My questions to those above are:

1. What is something new that you have tried/done recently and you loved?

2. Favourite place to go and have your own time?

3. When you were younger what did you aspire to be when you're older.

4. What is the best book that you have read this year and why?

5. What  is one thing that you love about yourself?

6. If you weren't a human, then what animal would you be?

7.  Have you ever saved someone's life before/had your life saved... explain!

8. If you were stuck in an elevator with a celebrity who would it be and why?

9. Who is your main inspiration in day to day life?

10. Why did you start your blog?

Thank you to Caihome once again for nominating me, I hope you have all learned something you didn't already know!

Bloggers & You-Tuber's IHBL!

08/11/2015

Hellooo Lovelies,
Last night I was casually scrolling through my twitter when I saw a fellow blogger create a post like this! I decided then that maybe I should create a post about the Bloggers & You-Tuber's I have been loveing! I always discover new people from the people I already interact with, so it might give you some ideas.
Bloggers:

Of course to kick it of there has to be the queen of blogging Inthefrow's Victoria. I have read Victoria’s blog now for 2 years and I have seen her develop and become somewhat of an more amazing person everyday. To me she is extremely inspirational, one of the many reasons I started my blog was because I loved the way in which Victoria wrote about almost anything and everything creating different images in my mind. It was just… I have no other words but stimulating… (I used the word inspiring too much so had to find more of a complex word) I know that Victoria is never going to see this but if she does I just want to say thank you for motivating, me to create my space on the internet because it is the best thing I have ever done, and created so many memories and experiences that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

The blog Vanilladrops I found during a twitter chat a few weeks ago. I then started to talk to her and stalking her blog. The pictures on her blog are so pretty and well taken they are how I wish my photos looked! I feel like I need to spread this girl around more because she is overall an amazing blogger who not only takes good photos but always has such a well written post that is structured beautifully.

Katiereidx is a blog by a girl named Katie. I met Katie on twitter over a year ago and we started to chat. We grew ever so close but then drifted apart until a few months ago. I was talking to Katie one evening when she declared that she wanted to start a blog. She did and ever since then I have loved it. Her writing flows ever so well and some of the things that she writes about make me smile and feel so appreciated… I suppose I’m including her also because she is one of my best friends who makes me laugh every day and gives me idea’s like this to keep up my blog when I have writers block!

You tubers:

Hannah Renée is one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever seen. She can create any make-up look yet still looking flawless. Her videos are edited together with such fluency that it seems like one whole clip. I have watched Hannah for quite a while now and I always look forward to when she uploads.

I discovered Fabulous Hannah through Gabby (Velvetgh0st). She was raving about Hannah and I obviously wanted to check it out. If you are sad go and switch on one of her videos because she cracks me up, whether I’m sad or angry she will literally brighten my day. I think that Hannah deserves so many more subscribers than she already has.

I hope you have enjoyed this slightly different blogpost! Comment below your favourite bloggers or you tubers so I can go check them out. Also comment if you have ever watched/read any of the amazing people listed above!

One Direction taught me a life lesson?

03/11/2015

 Hellooo lovelies,

A month ago now I saw one direction live. That day was filled with emotions, mainly happy due to feeling incredibly proud of how far they have come. But at the end I was crying because it was over ( I know I'm weird, hate me I don't care ) I felt like an era of my life was coming to a close all because they are going on a hiatus. The next section of the blog post I wrote at 2am when I returned from the concert when I guess you could say I was in a bit of a state! Enjoy...

Watching one direction made me realise one thing. Never give up on your dreams, may they be big or small. Every dream can become a reality. Seeing how far they've come has actually inspired me to work for what I want to achieve. Push myself and don't let anyone stop me. Liam didn't give up! He returned to the X-factor for a second year and guess what... He's now in the biggest boy band in the world. If that isn't inspiration, then I don't know what is.

My one life ambition is to become a paediatric nurse. If you don't know what this is, it is basically a children's nurse in a hospital. I have dreamt this and imagined my life as a nurse for 6 years now. I realised this was definitely what I wanted to do after watching my brother Callum being taken to hospital many time because of being allergic to mosquito bites. Seeing how caring the nurses were inspired me. I love to help people, I love being other people's source of happiness. If I was able to not only help a child, but also their family I would feel such a thrill, it's hard to put it into words.

Currently I'm leading up to the end of my GCSE's then it's onto A-Levels, then university. I have everything planned out on what I want to do, where I want to go... It is all down to just believing in myself.

You may not know what you want to do… or your dream is to sing or be able to do a talent you have always wanted to do... I guess what I'm saying is to never give up on ANYTHING. So long as you believe in yourself, you can get there! Push yourself, to succeed in ways you won’t believe are possible.
Leave a comment below on what you are most excited for or looking forward to in 2016!
