6th: Benefit Advent Calendar *Blogmas 2015*

06/12/2015

Hello lovelies!

Today’s product which was under door 3 was the Benefit Highbeam. I have always wanted to try this highlighter because I have seen lots of bloggers share the hype about it.

I applied the Highbeam today with my everyday make-up look, and at first it looked really good and was making my face look more defined. However I found it quickly faded and wasn’t noticeable.

I am a major benefit fan and I love to use quite a few of their products everyday but I found at first the pigmentation was amazing and then it just went. Maybe I didn’t put enough on or it doesn’t suit me, but I won’t be buying this again.

I have to be honest and I wouldn’t be buying this again. It is not worth the money.

Some places in the world this is the first time they may have Christmas without a relative and my thoughts go out to them, and I think we should all appreciate what we have!

Whether you are new to my blog or have been here for a long time then I am so grateful no matter what! Thank you. Have a lovely Christmas and appreciate everything! Love you all!

My blogs will be going back to being up every Wednesday from now on, so see you then!

Blogmas day 17&18: Weird D.I.Y santa decoration!?

18/12/2014
HELLO EVERYONE

ITS 7 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS YAYAYAY

I thought the other week that I would get my hands dirty and do some diy! So myself and my baby half-brother ( aged 4) Sat down for the whole of Saturday and Sunday and got a bit creative! I then thought, why not show some other people on the wide web and so I am!

1) First of all you will need to paper Mache a water bottle and the top of one balloon and the middle of another balloon ( However the balloons need to be fairly small!)

2) Once the paper Mache has dried I painted everything in red, except the bottom bit from the balloon which I painted white, with red around the very top like a hat!!

3) Then I Cut the middle of the balloon in half on one side and painted buttons along the middle. I then also added black boots and a black belt with a yellow buckle!? ( This is hard to get straight lines and hard with a four year old! Don't judge my bad painting skills!)

4) Then on the top balloon I painted a face and put pva glue all over and then stuck on cotton wool balls, for a fake beard effect! You can also add some around the hat and on the top for a fluffy affect!

5) Once this has dried glue on the belly and the head, you may need to stuff some cotton wool inside for extra support.

6) Now leave your santa out as a little decoration!( After I finished i then went back and added cotton wool arms, then painted them red, and black at the tips like gloves! I just forgot to take a photo and it is at my dads house and I'm at my mums!!)

Blogmas day 5: Winter skin care routine!

05/12/2014
HEELLOOO EVERYONEE!

ITS 20, YES 20 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

For day five into December I thought that I should share with you my winter skin care routine! I wear make-up everyday to school ( foundation, mascara, powder e.t.c) and majority of it stays on, which I am very thankful for. However I have to take it all off in the evening before bed, and this is how I do it!

Before I take of my make-up I like to make sure my hands are clean to not spread any dirt, and at the minute I am loving the Carex fun edition! I love the colours of this collection and the scents are just divine! My current addiction is the strawberry lace one!

So I start of by removing my make-up with cotton wool pads and the Nivea Extra gentle eye make-up remover. I think this is quite good because it takes of your make-up without irritating it, or leaving red marks behind. Also it contains Provitamin B5, and doesn't leave a greasy stain afterwards. However it doesn't remove my Benefit They're real mascara ):

Next I take my Liz Earle Hot Cloth, Cleanse and Polish, and I love this! I won't go into detail because I wrote a blog post all about it and you can see it by clicking here!

Next I take sudocrem, and I find that this works amazing on any spots because it reduces the size, then turns them into little flaky bits of skin ( I know it sounds disgusting but it works wonders!!) and this then just disappears when I wash my face. I find it also helps if you have little rashes on your skin because while clearing spots it also clears up rashes!

I hope that you have liked this post.. I thought why not do something I haven't done yet, so I did! Make sure you follow me on blogger to find out when im posting, if it isn't Blogmas or like me you are nosey and just want to look! You can simply find out any contact information on the tab at the top, and don't hesitate to talk to me and just chat via email if you are in need and wanting to talk to someone.
